Buy in Bulk
You do need space to buy a lot of bulk goods. But you don’t have to buy this much - buy just an extra bottle when its on sale.
This one is not necessarily easy for you to do although you can do it in a small way and get benefits. You need to have enough money to buy more than you need now, but it will save you money in the future. You also need to have space to store things. We’re lucky to have storage space under the stairs and I try to have at least one or two of regular things in stock.
And you don’t have to buy a pallet of products - look for the 2 for 1 weekly deals at the supermarket. You’ll find that things like dishwashing liquid can be really cheap if you do this.
Things that are good to have in stock:
Tinned foods (tomatoes, beans, fruit, etc)
Cleaning products
dishwasher tablets
dishwashing liquid
scourers
laundry powder
toilet paper
toothpaste
toothbrushes (also good when you have guests who didn’t plan to stay but ended up having a few drinks and staying over….)
deoderant
baking paper/gladwrap/foil
Sale items
season decorations
I look online for the lowest unit prices - cleaning products for example are not always cheapest in the one location. I buy from various stores and sites depending on the unit prices.
